I went in search for the Fountain of Youth
In drugstores for vitamins and pills
To keep my body healthy and free from ills
I went to beauty shops and bought,
Moisteurizers, cleansers and creams
Wrinkle removers and skin stretchers.
But it seems that it did not stop the years.
It was a disappointment I didn't find
The Fountain of Youth I kept out of my mind.
So I moved on with life and went on my way,
Never thinking of aging, wrinkles and pain.
I did what I can for people in need,
I used my talents and skills in the commuity
I kept my self busy doing the things I love,
And left everything in the hands of God.
I kept my body strong and healthy
With fruits and vegetables that are leafy
I read good books and kept my mind busy,
To my surprise I felt light and happy,
For at last the fountain of youth found me.
